The Chagrin Valley Little Theatre has been providing plays, musicals, youth theater education and special events to Northeast Ohio since 1930. Located just a half hour's drive east of downtown Cleveland in historical Chagrin Falls Township, CVLT is one of the nation's oldest community theatres, offering year-round entertainment at affordable prices.

Not a bad seat in the house, great local entertainment, good pricing, friendly staff.
CVLT is a short walk from my home; and therefore, parking is a non-issue. Plus, there are no bad seats at CVLT.
We attend all of the family events there -- what a great introduction for young people to professional theater!
What fun!! An excellent group of people run the Theatre and no one can beat the Talent. Broadway watch out!!
I was took drama lessons & spent summers as an apprentice with Don Dunkelberg in the 1960's. My father served as Board president. CVLT has always held a special place in my heart and his. On Cleveland visits we try to spend an evening at the Theater. The quality has continued all these years!!
They do it for the art, it isn't all business like so many other theaters around.
The people involved with Chagrin Valley Little Theatre are fantastic and the productions are first class. They are the Cadillac of little theatre groups.
You won't find a more dedicated group of actors and actresses in the Cleveland area. They dedicate a large amount of time (and occasionally resources) to not only bring classic plays to life, but also bring new life to Shakespeare!
It is a very intimate place to see a play where there is no bad seat in the house. I have seen or preformed in plays there since the early 1970's and have always enjoyed being there.
It's a wonderful theatre, great shows, fantastic actors and actresses that are all local talent, and the little theatre is such an asset to Chagrin Valley and its' neighbors.
I have always been impressed by the fact that CVLT is the oldest continually operating little theatre in the Cleveland area. The quality of shows has been good. During the "black list" period Alan Alda and his dad, DiSilva, Barrymore, and numerous others tread the boards of CVLT. During the 60' & 70's there were quite a few performers that went from the CVLT stage directly to Broadway! It is a lovely 262 seat, intimate theatre that should not be missed and definately supported to keep it "The Oldest Continually Operating Little Theatre in Cleveland".

I started acting at CVLT in 1983 and have never left. They do wonderful work and it's been a real home. Everyone there is dedicated to their craft and the community.
My husband and I have been more impressed and entertained by Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, than then any other venue in the area. In previous years were were subscribers to Cleveland Playhouse and to Playhouse Square. We still prefer Chagrin Valley Little Theatre. They can't be beat!!!
It's like my home away from home. I always have a great time doing shows there.
