It is great to bowl in a center where the owner is present during leagues so he can actually see what's going on with his business.
And, what's not to like when-before they start the leagues-they thank you for being there!
With his hands-on approach, his unflagging support of high school bowling and youth bowling programs in general - Ray Stalnaker and Midway Lanes earn my vote for the best bowling in Akron.

My kids bowled in the leagues there for several years. We loved it there. Ray does a great job running his business. He has great patience helping the kids. Dottie does a fantastic job working with the kids leagues. Only reason we aren't bowling anymore is the kids got into other activities that now conflict.
