Swensons is on my daughter's list whenever she visits from Albuquerque, NM. The sauerkraut balls are the best!!!

Our oldest son lives in Mpls, where he is a career Army guy, when he flys to Akron 1st stop is Swensons before us, and the last stop when he leaves, where he gets at least 7 cheeseburgers to go!!!!

I grew up in NE Ohio and now live out of state. Whenever I go back, Swenson's is ALWAYS on my to-do list!! CLASSIC!!!!

I had several selections from the menu and have yet to be impressed. The California fountain drink was more melted ice than flavor. The burgers are paultry and greasy but the creme de la creme was the side order of breaded mushrooms that were still frozen inside despite having to wait 20 minutes for our order to come up. Next stop...MENCHES!

The meat tastes great! I've been told that they put brown sugar in their meat. The hamburg buns are also wonderful. I've been told they are made by Massoli's bakery here in Akron.

as much as i cannot get comfortable eating in the car (i'm a sit-at-the-table kinda gal), i love the carhop service and i just can't drive by a "swennie burger". i keep a little tray in the car just in case i happen to be in the neighborhood.

Wow. All I can say is that Swenson’s have the most ridiculously good burgers on the face of the planet. Northeast Ohio is so fortunate to have such a wonderful establishment! Every time my wife goes to visit her family in OH, she Fedex’s a half dozen double cheeseburgs to Cali. They are that good! In-N-Out can’t come close to such an amazing burger! Once they decide to franchise, I’ll be first in line!
