Escape to The Monastery for an afternoon or evening of relaxation and creative dining. Regale in the soft glow of Himalayan Salt candles that ionize the air. Our menu features our own tea cured meats, a fusion of historic recipes with a contemporary twist, utilizing international ingredients. Over 150 teas are available for enjoying here or at home. We also offer French press coffees, chocolate, and other infusions to stimulate and please your pallette. Daily we feature the chef’s special creations. We feature a Formal Tea for your enjoyment. The menu includes homemade scones, lemon curd, honey & lavender cream, strawberry cream, sandwiches, and dessert. Included is a pot of tea, served from a silver tea pot, for your enjoyment. Also available is a Cream Tea- which includes a selection of scones, lemon curd, a selection of dips and spreads, and a pot of tea. For your visual pleasure, we also offer “display teas”, which is meant to delight your eyes as well as taste buds. We are available for private dinner parties (minimum of 18). Rehearsal Dinners, Anniversaries, Surprise Parties, Birthday Parties, and Holidays. Arrangements can be made for private luncheons and dinners. Reservations are accepted. You can also join our tea club. The food is wonderful and healthy with different teas being used as an ingredient which enhances the flavor of the food. I especially enjoy the Berkshire Pork chops and the Grilled Monastery Chicken Breast. And the soups are fantastic! Plus the selection of tea is outstanding.
