I've been entertained by Something Dada for years now - starting back in the old basement Cabaret on West 6th St into another basement on W 117th and now at the new theater in the Tower Press Building on Superior. Over the years I've been delighted by the many cast incarnations - watched new blood hone their improv skills and have seen some of Cleveland's brightest comedic talent take their Dada experience with them as they follow the dream of a career in comedy.

Home-grown comedy at it's silliest. Quality people pouring their hearts into more than an hour of unscripted laughter. Audience suggestions ensure that it's never the same show twice which is rarely a guarantee with live comedy. Take friends - the more people the better the show. It's an enrgetic atmosphere that thrives in the warmth of intelligence and absurdity. Expect to experience anything from a few giggles, some under your breath snickers and full-out laughter and tears.

It's the perfect place to take out of town guests, as well as local friends who are looking for an alternative to the mundane bar scene.

Also a good place for a first date - you can tell a lot about a person from what they're willing to shout out to an improv troupe.

More people need to know about Something Dada, it's been one of the cities best-kept secrets for thirteen years... and NO they didn't put me up to this. I believe in them.
